Back from the Cold

It's been a while since I've posted, I've been in Afghanistan experiencing life on Logcap IV and a few other contracts. One thing hasn't changed about the contracting world, is that no matter where you go, what company you are with or the government agency you are working with their are fellow expaters out there that you will find and always share a common bond with. Those that have done this work know what I'm talking about.

I enjoyed my experience in Afghanistan actually. It was very rough living compared to Iraq, very rough. Tent living, sleeping on the ground, bad food, MRE's all are commonplace there unlike Iraq. Afghanistan is a beautiful country as well, much more so than Iraq. I will say, I was glad to be home when I was done, but it was a very rewarding experience. Things are hopping there and if you want adventure, it's there.
